Magic’s Pete Brown

My background is in radio and television and I now operate the Magic FM Radio Network in Perth and can be heard every morning on air.

Through the marvels of today's technology I'm also heard on radio stations aroundAustralia and help out other radio stations as a programming consultant.

As a youngster, my first on-air role was with 4TO Townsville, North Queensland as the station’s youngest ever “Drive-Time” announcer.

While at Melbourne 's 3KZ, I was known on-air as Harley Davidson and was honoured by a Melbourne newspaper’s annual awards as “Best Radio DJ Voice”.

In my home-town of Perth , I've been heard on 6KY, Easy Rollin 6IX, 6PR, The Eagle, Radio West 1080, and have worked more formats than most of Perth 's personalities: Top 40, AC, Oldies, Country,Talk, and now Adult Standards.  

Having spent time as Programme Director of News/Talk station 6PR, I was employed as Programme/Music Director of 1080 The Eagle where I introduced a “Hits & Memories” format. This proved to be popular with listeners, so much so that 1080 6IX has yet been able to equal or better those ratings.

ON-AIR, I've hosted various popular radio shows, including “Pete’s Party”, “Jukebox Saturday Night” and 6 O’clock Rock, the party show that was heard throughout the state with shows broadcasting from the streets of Northbridge and Fremantle…as well as from pubs and clubs.

I've also fronted music television shows with Channel 7 Perth and Adelaide , appeared on children’s shows, telethons and talk/variety programs. I've also been invited to audition as host of national television game shows.
